In 2007 and 2009, in Timisoara, there were organized conferences on angiogenesis in normal and pathologic conditions. Since then, there were open new directions for research in the field of angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis.

Now, it is the time to jump to a new level in understanding these processes and for practical application of specific methods in experimental models and clinical studies.

To find out what is new in the field, just come in Timisoara at the end of May, for two days workshop on angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis.

Welcome to Timisoara, and to the Workshop entitled: "Classic and Modern in Angiogenesis and Lymphangiogenesis".

We are pleased to have been able to bring together a distinguished group of scientific leaders, both in basic and clinical fields, in the evolving and exciting area of angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis research.
